This collection started when Harrison heard an elderly couple who had been married for fifty plus years answer the question, “So how did you stay married for all these years? What’s your secret?” The wife answered without missing a beat, “We never fell out of love at the same time.” Susan dove in and started traveling down this bumpy road of love. Love of children, beer, a good time, shoes, passion, infatuation, understanding, dancing, loss and the lessons learned on life’s journey.

Travel around the world and explore other cultures with Susan Harrison from PALamazoo puppet and music. This interactive program will have you actively involved as she sings a story and shares a song, incorporating original colorful puppet characters with interesting props that have traveled the globe.  Using modern technology she can add a variety of sounds and effects to this  enchanting presentation that will leave you inspired  and eager to travel. 

Her song READ  is  currently being heard in the mountains of Tennessee where it is broadcast from the reading mobile. She vows to keep learning and loves libraries and creating in a multitude of medias.  She looks forward to sharing her joy with your library.

Adult audiences:

Susan will share many songs that she has taken from the themes of literature. As an active member of the book club group the Book Babes, Susan has written songs about the stories and discussions that have jumped off the page. Listen to the lives of colorful characters as they paint images in your mind. An interesting marriage of music and literature.
